I'm a freshman in highschool, and there's this guy who I go to school with. We haven't really talked to each other the whole year until now- but we always knew OF each other. I hung out with a group of people the other night, (he happened to be in the group of people), and we didn't talk much. I got home and I decided to add him on myspace. The next day came. We had a student union meeting outside and he sat next to me on the bench. We didn't talk at all, I guess since we all had to be quiet. I got home from school that day, and I had a message from him on myspace. It said, hey, how're you, that type of stuff. And I replied, and we small talked a bit. And then he said "By the way, I was looking at you today, and you have really pretty eyes." i was like "thanks!" and he replies "oh no problem, only stating the truth. Plus i think you're really pretty." Ugghh he tugged at my heartstrings. Today at school, we talked but not that much. If he likes me, how do i pursue this? I NEED ADVICEEE!

i think he likes you, why would he compliment you on how pretty you are, if he wasnt attracted to you? cuz i wouldnt compliment a girl on how pretty she is if i wasnt attracted to her, unless she was my friend. but just keep talking to him, and see what happens.

You're doing just fine right now.
If you're shy, keep chatting online, it's easier to express your feelings that way. And even if you don't have much chance to speak at school, every time you see him make eye contact and smile. The more you talk to him, the easier it will get.
If you have the guts, ask him out; but if not, just keep chatting and talking, and if he feels like you do, he'll make the first move.
