I was with a guy for 3 yrs. We got engaged and it didn't work out. Not on so good terms. I was a bit bitter about things. A while ago I saw him and we talked briefly. I think he was shocked he ran into me or something. But I was anxious to end the conversation and drove away, but nicely.

Months later, I saw him on myspace and left him a msg. Just saying hi to him and hope everything is cool with him and maybe something kinda inspirational about Religion. NOTHING, having to do with us, along with a Friends Request.

I even apologized for driving off

Days later, I checked when the last time he logged in. He logged in again after my message was sent so I know he saw my friends request. He didn't reject it, but it was just sitting there. I accidentally deleted my sent messages, so I wasn't able to check the status to see if he read it. But I did have pics of my new bf up.

After a few days, I just deleted my friends request 2him. He never responded to my email. Y?

He's doing the mentally healthy thing to do: get an Ex out of his life. You should let go also and never hear from him again. Hard to do, but will spare you lots of pain in the long run.

It might just be pretty awkward for him. Instead of myspace try getting together for coffee to catch up, just something friendly and not so personal, but more contact than a myspace message.

I would drop it. He isn't interested in talking, maybe its too soon, maybe he has a girlfriend and doesn't want drama to start..who knows. I wouldn't keep trying to contact him, wait he might get back with you (message wise) if not then it obviously wasn't meant to be.

It means you're still hung up on him, and he's trying to move on. You have a boyfriend, let the other one go. He's probably just trying to move on and doesn't need a myspace reminder of you. Don't take it personal, you can't always be friends with your ex. Let it go.
